Rolodoc is a company established by two medical doctors brothers, that aims to improve communication in the medical field through a mobile app that allows for secure email and instant messaging between patients, doctors, and other medical professionals. The app allows users to search for doctors by speciality, state, and insurance provider, view their profiles and send them messages.
The company at the time was testing with 50 users, and the founders believe that their app will revolutionize the way medical professionals communicate and will help to eliminate the use of outdated pagers.

Dr Olivia Noel (MD, PhD, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon) and founder of DNA Simple, a company which aims to facilitate genetic research by collecting saliva samples from individuals and matching them with relevant research studies. The company pays individuals for their samples and ships them kits to collect and return the samples.
DNA Simple earns a percentage of the funds paid by the research companies for the samples. The company’s goal is to make genetic research happen faster so that cures for diseases can be found more quickly.

The sharks make various offers, including one from Robert Herjavec for exclusive rights to sell Wall RX internationally, and another from Kevin O’Leary and Lori Greiner for a joint deal of $150,000 for 10% equity with the option to sell on QVC and in infomercials. The entrepreneur ultimately decides to accept the joint deal.
